I have a healthy obsession with Belgian bands. Yes, healthy. If you meet me I may encourage you to develop a similar passion with the Benelux region. Bribe me with Malteasers and you're sorted. I love 1950s kitsch and glamour, polka dots and impractical shoes. I can put the majority of skeletons (human & animal) back together. Can't say that has many everyday uses, but hey, I wouldn't have encountered the problems they did in Funnybones.

I love it when actors burst into song in films (Anchorman & O Brother WHERE Art Thou?). I'm pretty easy going, but dislike pretentious waffle. Not Waffles. They're great. I can often be found putting the world to rights over wine and Kettle Chips (if the Malteasers have run out) and laughing out loud to books on the train. I love so much music I never know wHERE to start. However, It all started with 5 Star... my first ever album and I'm PROUD.

At 15 I formed a band with the coolest boys I could find, wore shamefully short skirts and too much eyeliner. Whilst at University in Birmingham I became Head of Music at the university radio station, Burn FM championing unsigned bands and Belgian Rock (while trying to convert, to my tastes, anyone who crossed my path). Needless to say the bug bit hard and I took a job as a A&R and student promoter for Universal/Island Records and Wild Promotions. After leaving university I tool various work experience placements within PR and Record companies before running out of money and taking a job within a publishing company. Didn't like it much. I got a job in a library instead. Much better. Admittedly it has very little to do with anything I have thus far worked towards but it gives me fabulous Public Sector Worker days off wHERE I can do my Sparkling.
