MAD STARING EYES are a 4-piece from London. Their punk energy, pop melodies and irreverent humour won them the John Peel competition in 2005, following directly in the footsteps of The Subways .

They subsequently stormed the Peel Stage at Glastonbury, becoming one of the most talked about unsigned bands in the UK. The enthusiastic reception to their self-titled debut EP then led to MAD STARING EYES being invited to perform at the legendary SXSW festival in Texas.
